Net Income/ Expenses calculation

I have my bank statements which has all the Income in positive and expenses in negative values. I have used query to categorize the +ve & -ve as Income & expenses and then using this category to separate between the two. 


Problem I'm having now is, as the Transfer category has both positive and negative values, it gets listed in both Income & Expenses and I'm unable to derive "Net" output. What i would like to have is pivot table for a given month or year to automatically calculate all the positive & negative values and group them separately under Income and expenses and nothing gets doubled up.
