Needing a formula to import a range of cells based on criteria

Hello. I am trying to import a range of cells from one sheet to another (same workbook), similar to the Query function in Google sheets. In one tab, Roster, I put names, and In/Out times for my employees for a daily schedule. I categorize them by in/out, Position (BOH, FOH), OPen, Mid, Close (shifts). I put all that into the Roster based on the Day of week. Then on the other tabs called Day 1, Day 2, etc. I have sections where those on Roster corresponding to Open shift (C33), names and times are placed; those corresponding to Mid (L33), and Close are placed. I need a formula to import the data from Roster. But it is filtered by Open, Mid, Close. I built this sheet in Google sheets and Query worked so well. I've moved over to Excel, and struggling to do this. Any help you can offer will be a life-saver. Thank you.
