Need help with referencing xlsx file and pulling in text

I want to reference Project Earnings.xlsx for Project Schedule.xlsx.  In Project Earnings.xlsx, project name, assigned team member and project deadlines are listed.  Project Schedule.xlsx is used to project manhours from the assigned team members. 


I want the cells in Project Schedule.xlsx to find the team member initials in Project Earnings.xlsx and return associated project name and project deadlines into Project Schedule.xlsx.


Essentially, I want to isolate the assigned team member projects from one xlsx file into another for ease of inputting projected manhours.

It would help if you could attach sample workbooks (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make them available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar.
