Naming a row of data creating spill error

Copper Contributor

I used to be able to name several cells of data in a row, use the named row in a formula, then add in extra details into specific cells.  This now leads to a #spill! error as the named row now appear to be a dynamic array.

How do I go back to the old way?  ie static array?

It is an array in both cases, just old Excel performed silently in background implicit intersection, that's not the case for the new Excel. More about this here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/implicit-intersection-operator-ce3be07b-0101-4450-a24e-c1...
You may try to use "@" in front of your formula, or better re-write it in dynamic arrays style.
