MS Excel bug

Copper Contributor
I noticed that there is a bug in MS Excel.
Typically if you type in a cell MM/DD/YY it should return the current year. Example if we type in 04/12/21 it returns 04/12/2021.

However the moment you type a year 30 and above it returns the year 19xx
Example
If I type in 04/12/31 it returns 04/12/1931

@Krsnarti That's not a bug. Excel interprets two digit years up to 29 as 21st century. 30 and above are assumed to be 20th century. On a Mac you can changes this cut-off your in Excel under Preferences, Edit. On Windows you need to change the Date formats under Language and Regional settings.
