Until recently, when I deleted a cell, Excel gave me the option to "move cells up." For some reason the programming changed and no longer offers that option. I have document in which an error in the fifth column was made somethere near the top, resulting in hundreds of cells being one place below where they need to be. I hope someone can tell me how to delete one cell and make all cells below that spot move up. Your help would be most appreciated. I don't know enough to get back to here, so hope copy of response can be sent to ThorntonClark37@gmail.com. Thank you. Thornton Clark

Hi @Thornton37
how exactly do you delete the cell?
What happens when you right-click on that cell and select "Delete..."? There you should get your options (Shift cells left, shift cells up, Entire row, Entire column)
