More Excel weirdness-how do I reset columns in inches

This was so easy in Office 2013, but I can't seem to do it in 2021. Have set the File-Options-Advanced-Display-Ruler Units to inches, but everything still comes up pixels. What next?

Switch to Page Layout view. You can then view and set column widths in inches.

Finally figured out I needed to be in View-Page Layout rather than in just Page Layout...working fine now. Thanks!
