Hello World,
Trying to teach myself some Excel and ran into this error. Wondering if someone can help. Ultimately I'd like to search a column of 9 digit numbers in one worksheet with a column of four digit numbers in another. If the four digit number matches the last 4 digits of a number in the nine digit column, I'd like to return that number to a new column in the sheet with the 4 digit column on the same line as that 4 digit number.
In the match portion of the formula i.e. (=MATCH("*2862", X2:X14, 0), I get #N/A and I don't understand why. I would think that this would return position 13 that I could use in an index function. Thank you, World
