Have a look at Data, Get Data, From File, From workbook. That allows you to pull in the data from any workbook into your current workbook (the pulled in table can be refreshed so it is up to date, for example when your file is opened). After that, you can use functions like XLOOKUP to get the data belonging to a certain item.
