Loss of data on upgradation of Excel 16


Hi Guys,

My windows was corrupted so I reinstalled it. Accordingly I upgraded my Excel from 13 to 16. All my excel sheets remained intact but in one of the sheets, namely, Balance sheet 2022, data from 2 to 16 August has been lost. I had it saved on an external disc but unfortunately when I inserted and opened the balance sheet, same data was lost from it as mentioned earlier. It's surprising. Can someone help me solve this problem as the lost data is very important and I have also lost it on external disc. How can I recover the lost date?
