Looking up a table with correspoding value

Hi - use a list value with drop down. I want to get a value the compare total hours worked

with Step 1 image I wan to be able to choose the drop down then sum it up and compare to the 30

so with step two image I have entered in 4 values and the value = 30 which corresponds with the value in column be so if yes the green else red

any help would be appreciated

Hello mezcalbean,
Maybe VLOOKUP and/or XLOOKUP should help. Look up the help on these functions and you should be able to get going. If not, come back with what you need. I like XLOOKUP because it does not have the pitfalls of VLOOKUP.
