Listen on a port with excel for iot data

I have a lot of scattered devices throughout the country which upload data to an FTP server.  I need to stop using the server and instead send individual sensor readings to a specific port (I have selected port 35) and listen for this incoming data with excel.  I want to build a file of readings that can be looked at and analyzed.  Anyone know if excel can be configured to listen to data coming in?

I have already handled the port forwarding.
