Linking to a Worksheet within a Workbook

Copper Contributor

When I link a cell in one Worksheet (the "Destination Worksheet") to another cell in another Worksheet (the "Linked Worksheet"), sometimes the formula within the Destination Worksheet refers to the Linked Worksheet with a quotation mark before and after the name of the Linked Worksheet and sometimes it does not. Is there a reason for this? I ask because there are plenty of times in which I will just type the link myself rather than point and click. Thanks in advance.

If the sheet name has spaces in it, then there needs to be quote marks.

@JMB17  Thank you so much for such a quick response and you are spot on with why it has been occurring!
