Hi All,
Please see attached file before reading
I have started an excel course and I am struggling on a data linking task. I know how to link standard data to different tabs, workbooks etc. There are 3 separate worksheets, the annual sales figures have their own sheet. The task is to link Year 1s data to Year 2 but increase by a specific percentage, they said it can be done manually however there is a quicker/efficient way of doing it by linking. (please note the percentages are in a summary/input table for you to link data.

@KatieDee Look in the sheet for Year 3. The formulae in that sheet (F4 and F5) link to Year 2 and the parameters from the Summary sheet. I guess you need to do something similar in Year 2 to link it to Year 1.

@Riny_van_Eekelen Hi there, thank you for your reply. I am aware of the linking formulas however, my task is to use the linking shortcut, meaning I don't have to manually type all of formulas. I am unsure how to link the percentages to increase the figures on Year 2 and 3.

@KatieDee What's a "linking shortcut"? Perhaps they mean to use named ranges.
