Line chart text data

Is it possible to create a line chart with data on the Y axis vs. distance along the X axis, and also have a second data point as text being displayed at the appropriate position along the X axis?  I have been able to create a chart that displays text, or a chart that displays distance, but not both on the same chart.

Perhaps data labels with the values from cells option will do what you want - see the attached version.
