I have Office 365 Excel with Power Pivot. My question is can I download a latest version of Power Pivot and get it into my Excel as Add-In? The problem I'm having is my version of Power Pivot does not have the rather new function CONVERT(); Power Bi on my computer does have it. I need it in Power Pivot. CONVERT() was released about sept 2019 and my Excel version 1910 is dated Oct 2019 so it should have but does not have this function. Thanks for any insight and response. Jeff_Logan077
Power Pivot is built in Excel staring from Excel 2016, it's not any more downloadable and separately installed add-in. Thus it is updated together with Excel.
Functionality of Power Pivot is relatively far behind compare to Power BI Desktop and Analysis Server. Some DAX functionality could be implemented with big delay, some perhaps will never be implemented (as bi-directional relationships).
At the same time for some DAX functions which actually exists, Power Pivot editor shows as not recognized (as TREATAS() ). You won't know till press Enter (or you already knew).
