How do I insert a photo into a cell in excel from my photos?  I'm itemizing a collection and what to add a cell with a photo of each item.  Can this be done?  If so what is the process to do this?

Hello @ALLISC1,

The following link explains how to insert pictures in Microsoft Office programs:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/insert-pictures-3c51edf4-22e1-460a-b372-9329a8724344

I'm not sure I understand. What should be the outcome?

@ALLISC1

With your permission, here is a suggested solution, if you insert the images in a comment, they will only be visible when you mouse over.

Here is the installation description:

Cursor in cell with comment> right mouse button> edit comment> right mouse button click on the edge of the comment field (not very easy)> select format comment> colors and lines> drop down color> fill effects> tab graphic> select graphic / picture.

So the photos would always be there and the worksheet would be empty enough to be used elsewhere.

* Knowing the Excel version and operating system would also be an advantage.

I would be happy to know if I could help.
