playing with index match to learn excel,
(match a & b and display all columns of rows that match)
running into issues with search results , seems to find a match on say row4 and display, then run for row 2 and displays match from row 4 ect.. till it gets to row 5 in the array
=ARRAYFORMULA(iferror(index($B8:$E$17,match($E$5&$C$5,$E8:$E$17&$D8:$D$17,0))))
a weak fix is to use unique on the completed search area
anyway i can get this all in 1 formula? and not need the 2nd search space/area/unique function??
i am using google sheets for training because i dont have excel on this pc

Hello,
Google and Excel are different products. Excel does not have an ARRAYFORMULA function. If you work with Excel, please stick to Excel. If you prefer to work with Google sheets, by all means, do so, but be aware of the differences.
