In the excel personal monthly budget how do I change the $ symbol to £?

Does anyone know how to change the symbols  from Dollars to pounds sterling? I use a surface running windows 10

If so, select the little square with a triangle in it, in the top left corner of the grid (i.e. above the 1 and left of the A) to select the entire sheet. Then, on the Home ribbon, choose the Accounting format with the Pound symbol.
