Excel 365 does a poor job of recognizing ticker symbols for Preferred Stock when trying to use the Data/Stock importing function (eg. ANH-PRC) . I understand this is a deficiency of the service they use for this purpose and I hope at some point they improve it. Unfortunately the portfolio I'm trying to track has a LOT of Preferred stock in it (40+ less than half of which Data/Stock recognize). Is there a simple way to upload information on a bunch of tickers in one fell swoop using the Get Data from the Web function (such as importing a tracking portfolio set up in Google or Yahoo or MSN Finance?). Doing it one stock ticker at a time is a royal pain.
