I would like the option to insert a column when I have copied cells

If I copy cells and right click a column header the normal insert command is replaced by insert copied cells.


I would prefer the insert option still appears in that menu so I can add in a blank column. 

More often than not I want to past the copied cells is a specific place and the insert copied cells isn't what I want.

Why not insert column first, then copy and paste necessary data after?
