I want to view a highlighted the row across the page as i enter my data, line by line

 want to view the line across the page as I work on my spreadsheet.

Right now, I can only see the whole row across when I go to the first cell of that row to see all the way across the page. When I go to the cell I am going to enter my data, the highlighted row disappears.

or to have a different color for each row. 

can you help me?

Not sure I understand completely, but perhaps the 'Freeze Panes' option is what you need. More about that here:
