I need to create role account system for edit

can i createa admin system like a roles & give admins or vistor role to users so pepole i chosse can edit cells or only edit some cells or can only read & they can't edit anything & protecet some cells

The problem that will arise is having a workbook where some people you would want to only read it and not have the ability to edit cells.

Excel allows you to protect worksheets within a workbook. You can put a password on the protected sheet so people cannot just unprotect it. When you protect a workbook you can have it where certain cells can still be edited.

So you can password protect a worksheet that allows editing for certain cells for the person that you want limited access.

Someone whom you would want to have complete access, you can just give them the password for the worksheet so they can edit the unlocked cells.

So the problem is addressing the issue for people you only want read only access. Unfortunately, there is no way to address these three groups of access within one worksheet. There is no option to create a worksheet that will provide different levels of access - aside from protecting the worksheet and leaving some cells unprotected.

I can go over some possible workarounds, but none of them involve doing this within one workbook. It would require at least two workbooks. So you can have If that is something you are interested in, let me know.
