How to generate a link that duplicates an Excel file in Excel for web?

I want to share a certain template to my peers, but need them to duplicate this in Excel for web, NOT in Excel desktop. I saw that Microsoft templates are able to do this (sample here) wherein if you click on the 'Customize in Excel, it creates a copy of the template and opens it in Excel for web.

I haven't had any good search so far when looking for ways to do this.

To enable duplication of an Excel file using a link, upload the file to OneDrive or SharePoint, share the link with the appropriate permissions, and instruct users to save their own copy using Excel for the web. While direct duplication links like those in Microsoft templates aren't natively supported, clear instructions and effective sharing settings can accomplish the desired outcome.
