Hi! Not a dumb question at all, happy to help.

To change a single cell in Excel, you simply need to click on the cell you want to change and start typing your new value. Alternatively, you can double-click on the cell to enter edit mode.

To add conditional formatting to a cell, follow these steps:

1. Select the cell you want to format
2. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon at the top of the Excel window
3. Click on the "Conditional Formatting" button
4. Choose "Color Scales" and select the color scale you want to use for your formatting
5. Set the minimum and maximum values for the scale based on the number of days required to complete the task
6. Click "OK" to apply the formatting to the cell

That's it! You should now see a color bar across the cell that reflects the number of days required to complete the task.
