Hi!
I have a shared workbook that i have set to create automatic backups of (using Save As - General Options)... this is creating the backup files successfully, but I need to find a way to make the backup files readonly so that users aren't accidentally going into the backup file and making edits.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi!
I am also looking for this kind of solution to setup backup file not accidentally open,
maybe way to change the path: where will be this file located.
This is question for MS developer guru, if is any option how to set in MS office, please let us know here.
