How do I get Excel to automatically repeat headings

Copper Contributor

I have a large complex spreadsheet and as I go down the page, I lose the headings & keep having to go up to the top of the page to see which column is which.  There used to be a way to have excel automatically repeat headings, so the spreadsheet scrolls down under the heading and the heading is always on the screen.

I'm a bit rusty with Excel and now needing to do far more complex things with it and I'd love to know how to do this.

Also can you create a calendar with information created from a spreadsheet that includes formulated dates?

In Page Setup you may define what to repeat

As for the calendar that's bit abstract question and better to ask it with separate conversation.

I assume you're talking about the live spreadsheet. Sergei's answer dealt with the way to do this when printing. In the live spreadsheet, on the View toolbar you'll see some tools to freeze top row or first column. It sounds like that's what you're looking for. On the top menu bar, it's available under Window

as shown below

Would be nice to know where the Page Setup is?
