How can I set a specific range in a sheet to protect?

on office 365 excel. However, I cannot find the same function on my excel toolbar.

How can I do it?

I have no idea why that button is missing for you. What happens if you start Excel in safe mode (press and hold the control key when you launch Excel). Is this Mac or Windows?

Windows. One of the reasons why I tell Mac users to ask their boss to buy a Windows machine is that Mac Excel is quite a bit behind Windows Excel.
