Highest Number Equal To

Copper Contributor

Good Day

I do not have a complicated question, but I just cannot seem to find the correct formula.

In a column of 4 numbers, I would like the highest number in that range to equal 5, the second highest to equal 3, third highest to equal 2 and 4th highest (lowest) to equal 1.

Could you please assist me?

Many thanks

In H3:H6: =INDEX(G3:G6,RANK(F3:F6,F3:F6))

@Hans Vogelaar : Thank you VERY much - that is exactly what I was looking for. Much appreciated and kind regards.
