The workbook I'm working in says it has links to another workbook, but I have tried looking everywhere within the sheet: formulas, data val., cond. formatting, etc. and can't find any reference to the other workbook, does anyone have a work around/solution?

@jp812 Try the tool described here.

@jp812

Remove hyperlink in Excel - that's how it works
Use the left mouse button to highlight the cell in which the link is located. Now right click on the hyperlink. Finally, select the "Remove Link" option to delete the URL from the table.

If it doesn't work with that then here are further solutions with VBA and key functions.

* It would also be an advantage to know the exact Excel version (e.g. Excel 365 Home) and the operating system in detail (e.g. Win 10 (20H2).

Hope I was able to help you.
