Hi! So this is for school, I need to use the If Function for Column E down, getting the total for the rings with the personalizing surcharge if they have it... I cannot get the correct price for some reason, plz help.

Better if you share workbook with the same information. Where is IF() and what exactly you'd like to calculate?

The IF function is under the Logical Formulas, I think my Capture Image should work now..I need to calculate the total cost of the ring type, which includes a personalized surcharge if the students want is personalized.

Have no idea where the Logical Formulas are, but total cost you may calculate by formula like

=SUMIFS(<cost>, <RingType column>, <RingType>)
