Help with spread sheet

I have been doing a spreadsheet for the last 3 month and saving it. I came into work this morning and opened it and now it is saying it hasn't been updated in 2 months and all my stuff is gone.  it is saying that this spread sheet has a different author and it is blocked but it is showing that I am logged in.

did you by any chance send a copy of it to anyone via email?

If the problem is in your corporate server, please contact your administrator.

It could be due to the permissions.

But as Mr. Yea_So has already written to you, insert a file (without sensitive data)

so we can see whether and how we can help.

Maybe it is accidentally blocked by another user, there can be many things that is why the file is of use.

At the same time, knowing the Excel version and operating system would be an advantage.
