Help with removing a 3D forumla in Excel

Copper Contributor

I've set up a number of spreadsheets, a summary sheet and a number of regional sheets which feed data between them.

They've been working just fine until I had to move the summary sheet within my folder structure.  As such I've been working my way back through the sheets to update the formulas to allow for the location change.

I'm now getting an error message in some of the regional sheets  -  "We can't update some of the links in your workbook right now.  You can continue without updating their values, or edit the links you think are wrong."

Similarly, if I access the summary sheet, I get asked to update the links, which appears to work fine, but if I then access the Edit Links option (under the Data tab) it appears that none of the links have automatically updated (Status showing as Unknown).  However, if I then click Update Values on each item, it moves to OK.

This wasn't happening before, and I don't know why it's started to happen now.

A quick google suggests that I may have a 3D Reference in my sheet but how do I find where that is, so I can correct it?

Can anyone help?
