Hello!
I work with manufacturing security doors, and to make my life easier I wanted to create an excel chart with a table of materials in the inventory then subtract from them the materials I need for each type of door I am going to make.
For example, let us say I made door1 and it requires X amount of bolts and X amount of welding wires ...etc I want to subtract that from the inventory when I write the door type.
I have not used excel much, but I know the very basic formulas, anyone knows how can I create this, please?

SolutionYou cannot subtract a number from the inventory using worksheet formula, rather you have to create a new column showing final levels.
