Hi there,
I hope someone can help with what I'm assuming is something fairly basic......
I often need to write columns with say, W1, W2, W3, W4 etc etc, and I don't know how to retain the "W" bit and then add a number as I copy it down through however many rows I need it to.
Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it?
Thank you in advance.

Solution@Schmule , you may use autofill, https://www.excel-easy.com/examples/autofill.html, other words type W1 and drag it down
