HELP On my laptop running Office 365, Excel files open a blank page with data from 1 random cell

I know the files are fine, because I can open them at my office on a different computer, but when I open the same files on my laptop I see data for one cell (at random) and nothing else, not even gridlines. I change view, I've disabled DDE or whatever, nothing seems to work to allow me to see the entire file. Any ideas?
