Help in excel formula

Good morning
If i want to write specfic word and when i write it.. the next column will give me the date of today
Example
Column A ... Column B
Hi ... 28/5/2020

=IF(A1="xxxxxx",TODAY(),"")

where "xxxxxx" contains the word you want to trigger today's date with.

@Mamoud33 Sorry, don't follow that. TODAY() gives you today's date. If that's not what you want, please clarify.

Clearly..
I want if i put a specfic word in colomn A row1 .. Excel automatically write the date of any day i am in automatically in collum B row 1
