Grouping excel worksheets windows in Excel 2010 way

Copper Contributor

Hi all,

For an Excel 2010 workbook with worksheets, each worksheet was opened in a separated windows, which was then resized, positioned within the workbook, then saved. So that when the workbook is open, all the positions of the sheets' window are in the right place and right size (including sheet zooming), so that gives a whole view of multiple worksheets in the wished size.

Now with new version of Excel, this seems no more possible. Each time the workbook is open, the window sheets are effectively open, but with a standard size and in cascade mode, all resizing and position are lost, so no more wished "view".

Does anyone have a solution for that?

Many thanks

That is so called Multi-Dimensional Interface (MDI) which is not available in recent versions of Excel. You may vote for returning it back here https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/11706627... and check comments for more details.
