Is there an easy way (function?) to create a table showing a complete mortgage amortization?

No.  We have to use formulas to design the amortization schedule.

 

There are some "templates" (public Excel files).  But the ones that I have seen are not very good, IMHO.

You're posting to a peer-to-peer user forum, and we have no control over MSFT.

 

So your rants are neither useful nor constructive.

 

You asked what "is", and I believe I answered it correctly.  A simple "thanks" would suffice.
