function for personnel location

I am trying to make a personnel tracker and what i am trying to do is have a default location but when the date hits that they will be in a different location it automatically will update then go back to default once the time period is over.  here is what I have   there are 3 tabs assigned missions, T2T, and Data on column D on the T2T tab is where the formula needs to go,  on the assigned missions tab will be where you can enter a  persons status, name (that comes from the data tab), date range and the location they will be the location is column k.

@kyle_weber It's difficult to visualise what you need based on your question alone. Since you already have made a start, could you upload your file (remove any private and confidential information like real persons names etc.). Indicate what you would want to see as the end result and the logic behind it.

@kyle_weber Thanks, but when I try to open your file it's just hanging and impossible to work with.
