How do I write a formula to give me a total in column H (which at the moment can be -1 and then causes my total of the column to be wrong by the number of -1s in that column please.

I just cannot get something right in the arguments

For example

=MAX(SUM(C2,E2)-1,0)

Spot on - just what I needed apart from 2 paracetamol !
