Hello I am trying to complete an assignment on my IT lab,and when I insert a function it says spill. I need help on how to resolve this issue,please and thankyou

Spill error is occasioned by something that's blocking the spill range. For example if your spill range is A1:A10 and there is a value in cell A4 or any other cells within A1:A10, you will get spill error... All you need to do is to remove the value within the spill range

Some functions--you don't say which you were using--deliver results in the form of multiple rows of data, in an array; doing so is referred to as a "Spill"

You need to provide room for that to happen.

If that doesn't make sense, come back with a more complete description, including the name of the Function you're attempting to use. If possible, include a posting of your actual spreadsheet.
