Formula using different sheet data using a number from existing sheet to determine the row number

Hi all. 

So I have a formula within one sheet as follows "=Sheet2!D26" 

I would like instead to have something such as "=Sheet2!D(A1)" where A1 is in my existing sheet and states the row number needed such as 26 but then when I change 26 it updates all my formulas.

Any help?

=INDIRECT("Sheet2!D"&A1)
