Formula stopped executing when I finish typing it

I must have hit something somewhere. When I finish entering a formula, it does not execute, the formula just sits there. I am use to entering a formula, hitting return and seeing the result. This is not happening since yesterday. Where did I turnoff execute formula when I leave the cell? Thank you, @Stephan-3

The cell could possibly formatted as text. Change the cell format to General or Number.
Another reason could be that the Calculation Option was set to Manual. Change it to Automatic in Formulas Ribbon Tab.
