I am trying to do a gestation calculator for pigs and need formula for my final farrowing date if the sow does not go for rebreed
SOW NUMBER | HEAT DETECTEION DATE | SERVICE DATE | PREGNANCY CONFIRMATION DATE | REBREED YES/NO | REBREED DATE | PREGNANCY CONFIRMATION DATE | APPROXIMATE FARROWING DATE | |
C&P 2201 | 25-Jan-23 | 27-Jan-23 | 17-Feb-23 | Y | 19-Feb-23 | 9-Mar-23 |
So sow goes for servicing on 27/01/23, 3 weeks later she is checked for heat, if she does not come into heat 27/01/2023 will be her service date and farrowing date will be 114 days from this date. However if she does come into heat she is returned to the boar and checked for heat 3 weeks later. if she does not come into heat 19/02/2023 will be used as service date and the farrowing date will be calculated from this date. Please help

@NikolinoDE thank you very much. Your formula works, just had to swap the Yes and No around. Thank you once again

I'm looking to do a generic printable calendar with all this info on everyday. The pigs heat cycle is every 21 days because that the heat cycle. I'm looking for if I breed her on this
Breed Jan 1st
Heat Cycle Jan 22nd
Due date 10/10/24
Breed Jan 2nd
Heat cycle 1-23-24
Due Date 10-11-24
Breed Jan 3rd
Heat Cycle 1-24-24
Due 10-12-25
This is the info I want on everyday to continue until Dec 31 on a printable calendar. How would I change this for 2025? We write gilts name on the calendar who is in heat and who is due.
The formula you did for Pierrek100 is that like a actual spreadsheet? That might be helpful as well to have a digital copy and a hard copy

See the attached workbook for two possibilities. Each shows a one-month calendar; the month can be changed by using a dropdown list (click on the month name to show the dropdown arrow) and a cell entry (for the year). Formulas in odd-numbered rows in those two worksheets determine what day number to display, and different formulas in the even-numbered rows determine what associated text to display.
A full-year calendar is also possible with additional work, but I already had one-month calendars similar to this.
