Formula needed

New here looking for some help.  Trying to filter out information in 2 separate columns.  I want just the Name in column A and the total amount in column C.  This is an example of what I have:

        B                                         C

FULL NAME                       EMPLOYEE NUMBER

Smith, John                               62835

Cochair Activities                      PAY

                                             17,432

I *ONLY* want to see the name and the number 17,432.  I want to apply this to an entire sheet.  Many thanks in advance?

Can you post few more sample data. Put a screenshot so that we can understand how your data are placed in cells. Also it would be better if you share a sample file via onedrive or google-drive.
