Formula AutoFill

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I have four spread separate spread sheets, that I am trying to sum up into one every time one of the four is edited. I am using this formula.

=SUM('[2019 Q1.xlsx]Cross Sell'!$L$5+'[2019 Q2.xlsx]Cross Sell'!$L$5+'[2019 Q3.xlsx]Cross Sell'!$L$5+'[2019 Q4.xlsx]Cross Sell'!$L$5)

The issue is normally you can put the green box around two cells and drag it down or across and it will fill in the correct number or letter that need to be changed, but it isn't doing that so I have to fix every single formula.

Please help!

If you intend to copy your formula down rows, use relative row like this: $L5; across columns, use relative column like this: L$5; or down rows and across columns, use relative reference like this: L5.
