Formula approach

Hello! I'm trying to create a cell that's capable of adding a value if this value is on a certain column or to subtract a value if its or other. Which functions should i be looking for? I'm not excel expert what so ever. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Use IF or IFS function for calculation based on another cell value.
