I have set up a work sheet that has two columns of dates and two columns of times. I have formatted the cells for date and time. when I enter a date, the format is correct but I am getting totally different numbers. For example: If I enter 32023 for result 03/20/2023 and tab, the format prints correctly but I get different numbers such as 05/23/1904. The same thing is happening with the date column. I have tried everything - can't find the solution. I also have three columns of currency and formatted them for currency. They work fine. Please help. You may email me at email address removed for privacy reasons. Thank you!

Excel does not understand that you want to enter a date if you don't include the date separator. It sees 32023 as just a number, and if you format it as a date, it won't be the date you wanted.
It requires VBA code to force Excel to treat 32023 as 03/20/2023. See Date and Time Entry
