For different case text values how do excel Pivot tables decide which one to use?

Since excel pivot tables are case insensitive it will keep only one text value when multiple have different cases. Does anyone know the logic on how a final text value is decided? For example, what would excel pick between 'Name', 'NAME'

It simply picks the first instance that it encounters (reading from top to bottom).
